KUALA LUMPUR: Sunrise Bhd's upcoming mixed development MK20 in Mont'Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, which is targeted for launch in the second half this year, is designed and conceptualised by world renowned architectural practice Foster+Partners.

Project details for MK20 which sits on six acres (2.4ha) of freehold land along Jalan Kiara nearby Plaza Mont'Kiara are still being fine-tuned. As a result, the exact number of units is still being determined and selling prices have not been set. The serviced residences have proposed unit sizes from 850 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft, the SoHos have sizes from 450 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft, while the business suites are from 700 sq ft to 1,550 sq ft.

The design is aimed at ensuring privacy for its residents while optimising natural light, views and external spaces at the same time.

The 18-storey block will house the serviced residences, while its taller counterpart has the hotel, SoHo and business suites. Linking the two relatively low-rise blocks is a central plaza with walled gardens and landscaped courtyard where retail activities will hold fort. The lower portion of the development or the upper and lower plazas will feature signature restaurants, cafes and boutique shopping, while the SoHo, serviced apartment and business suites and hotel floors sit atop them.

Facilities include a sky pool with views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline, tennis courts, multi-purpose hall facility cum badminton courts, games room and children's playground.
