Sunway wins two awards

KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Group's property development arms Sunway City Bhd (SunCity) and SunwayMas Sdn Bhd (SunwayMas) have bagged two awards at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2011, in association with Bloomberg TV.

SunCity's Sunway Vivaldi received the Five-Star Award for the 2011 Apartment Category while SunwayMas's Sunway Rydgeway received the Highly-Commended Award for the 2011 Development (Multiple Units) category.

In an issued press release, Sunway managing director for property development in Malaysia Ho Hon Sang, who receive the award, said that Sunway is overjoyed with the awards, and is pleased that the company's recognition as one of the top property developers in Asia.

"We will certainly continue with our momentum to develop residences of quality, in underscoring our vision to the most trusted and preferred property developer in the nation," he added.

Successful entrants were presented their awards at a high profile gala presentation dinner at the Longemont Hotel in Shanghai on May 31.

Later this year, the highest scoring winners from the Asia Pacific Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from Europe, Africa, the Americas and Arabia to find the ultimate World's Best in each category.

Ho said that the being among the top regional winners of the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2011 reinforce its world-class standards and expertise in introducing the most contemporary and award-winning property concepts.
