KUALA LUMPUR: Symbol Vintage Sdn Bhd expects its recently completed bungalow project Bukit Melawati (pictured), in Taman Melawati, Ampang to be fully taken up by the end of the month, said its managing director Jeffrey Ong Teng Buey.

Ong said sales of the project have been very positive, with more than 50% of the units already sold prior to the development’s open day on March 21.

“From yesterday’s enthusiastic and large turn-up of interested buyers, we expect to completely sell out by the end of this month, if not sooner,” Ong told theedgeproperty.com on March 22.

The 17 bungalow units have a gross development value of RM68 million. It comprises five layout designs with sizes ranging from 4,500 to 5,900 sq ft. Prices range from RM2.8 million to RM3.9 million each. The project sits on an eight-acre leasehold tract with tenure recently extended to 99 years.

“The target market of our project are people who appreciate good feng shui and living amidst quiet and natural surroundings with lots of greenery, yet being very accessible to Kuala Lumpur city and amenities,” Ong noted.

The company is currently negotiating to purchase another piece of land within the Klang Valley for a residential development. Ong, however, declined to elaborate further.
