PETALING JAYA: Blackstone Seven Sdn Bhd’s Tarragon Kelana Commercial Centre in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya in Selangor has recorded more than 60% sales following its launch last week.

The retail units and shop offices were completely sold while only a limited number of office suites are left.

“Our launch last week was an indication of the demand for office space.  We also have a corporate buyer booking one whole floor of office suites,” said Allstones Group Asia chairman K.H. Sim.  Blackstone Seven is a wholly owned subsidiary of Allstones Group Asia.

“The trend for small businesses now is to own their own offices in a secured environment instead of renting in upper floors of shop houses. All in, we hope to achieve about 80% sales by mid-April,” he said in a statement on Friday, March 26.

Constructed on a 1.1-acre site, the project with a gross development value of RM80 million comprises retail lots, eight blocks of shop offices and 60 units of office suites; the project is targeted for completion in 3Q2011., provides a three tiered security system, featuring key card accesses, CCTV and guards, flexible modular layouts; water featured landscaped piazza and ample parking lots and motorcycle space.

Sizes of the office suites range from 1,045 sq. ft. to 1,388 sq. ft. and are priced from RM407 psf. Each comes with a free car park. “This is probably the only office suites development in PJ that comes with a free carpark for each suite,” said Sim.

“Good frontage and easy accessibility from major highways has been a pull factor for purchasers. On top of that, the road system in surrounding area will be upgraded by WCT Berhad for its Paradigm project. We are also now applying to MBPJ for direct access into our project via the new road improvement, thus a quicker ingress from LDP,” he added.
