It was reported on April 14 that KL High Court's Justice Datuk Noorin Badaruddin has granted leave to Dhaya Maju LTAT to commence a judicial review to seek a certiorari order to quash the government's decision to cancel the project.

Justice Datuk Lim Chong Fong, in his decision which was delivered online today, also asked Dhaya Maju LTAT Sdn Bhd to vacate the site and to stop work.

On Tuesday (June 1), it was reported that Liza Chan Sow Keng recused herself from hearing 1MDB’s lawsuit against a law firm besides another case involving SRC's legal action against Datuk Seri Najib Razak and six others.

However, it ruled that the Temiar Orang Asli can initiate the legal action themselves and not through the federal government.

Former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak also alleged that the Feb 4 bankruptcy notice issued against him was a ploy for political conspiracy, and backed by malice and the High Court judgement last July where the summary judgement entered against him was not a final judgement within the context of the Income Tax Act 1967 and Insolvency Act 1967.

The court granted MDSA Resources the interim order yesterday pending the hearing of the company's appeal against the High Court's decision rejecting the sanction of the company's scheme of arrangement with its creditors.
