KUALA LUMPUR: IOI Properties Bhd has achieved a take-up rate of 70% of the non-Bumi units for its recently-launched Odora Parkhomes in its gated and guarded 16Sierra in Puchong.

Speaking to TheEdgeProperty.com recently, its general manager Lee Yoke Har said the Odora Parkhomes is the third launch in the leasehold township, and consists of 220 units of 3- to 3½-storey townhouses.

Revenue for the quarter under review rose 91% to RM79.713 million from RM41.709 million a year ago.

KUALA LUMPUR: Mahajaya Bhd bought a piece of freehold land in Cheras measuring 9.375 acres from Chong Shee Jan, Chong Shee Leok and Chong Soo Lim for RM15.52  million, the group announced on Tuesday, Nov 30.

The land is currently subject to the category of land use as pertanian ("agriculture") with an express condition of tanaman getah ("rubber trees").

KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Land Holdings Bhd (UEM Land) sold 19.998 acres of land in Johor Bahru to Medini Iskandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd for RM6.53 million, the group announced on Tuesday, Nov 30.

The sale was done via UEM Land's wholly-owned subsidiaries Nusajaya Greens Sdn Bhd (the registered proprietor) and Bandar Nusajaya Development Sdn Bhd (the vendor).

KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Jetson Bhd recorded a net profit drop of 96% to RM87,000 from RM1.998 million a year ago in its third quarter (3Q) financial statements ended Sept 30, 2010, the group announced on Tuesday, Nov 30.

Revenue earned increased 51% to RM42.59 million from RM28.19 million a year ago.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sycal Ventures Bhd recorded a net profit of RM3.44 million up from a net loss of RM1.26 million a year ago in its third quarter (3Q) financial statements ended Sept 30, 2010,the group announced on Tuesday, Nov 30.

Revenue earned rose 83% to RM43.88 million from RM23.996 million a year ago.

KUALA LUMPUR: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB) recorded an increase in net profit by 43% to RM7.95 million from RM5.58 million a year ago in its third quarter (3Q) financial statements ended Sept 30, 2010, the group announced on Tuesday, Nov 30.

Revenue earned, on the other hand, dropped 19% to RM130.396 million from RM161.82 million a year ago.

KUALA LUMPUR: Satang Holdings Bhd sold its freehold Bukit Jelutong land measuring about five acres to Mega Regal Development Sdn Bhd for RM18 million, the group announced on Tuesday, Nov 20.

The group decided to sell the land because land is not expected to contribute materially to the business of Satang Holdings in the future as the group does not have plans to develop the land.
