As of Oct 12, a total of 236 individuals in Kampung Padang Che Mas had undergone targeted screening and were told to undergo quarantine for 14 days at home and to wear quarantine bracelets while 25 individuals were found to be positive for COVID-19.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said additional manpower was needed at this juncture to carry out health activities at 19 low-risk quarantine centres and public health activities in the field in the State.
