PETALING JAYA (April 16): ECM Libra Group Bhd has completed the disposal of Tune Hotel George Town Penang to Wealthpro Holdings Sdn Bhd for a total cash consideration of RM51,888,000.

The company disclosed that its wholly owned subsidiary, ECML Hotels Sdn Bhd, executed a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Wealthpro Holdings Sdn Bhd for the disposal of the 258-room hotel.

In a bourse filing, ECM Libra said it has, through its subsidiaries, on Thursday (Nov 23), inked a business purchase agreement with the vendors Castle Street Liverpool LLP and CSL Opco Ltd to acquire the two leasehold assets that are located on the popular Castle Street.

ECM Libra said its wholly owned unit ECM Libra Desaru Sdn Bhd is acquiring the entire equity interest of Desaru Beachfront 2 Sdn Bhd, owner of a 36,831-square metre plot, for RM17.
