PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur was the world’s cheapest city in 2019 to buy a luxury home based on a survey of 28 cities across the globe, according to Savills Prime Index: World Cities research report.

PETALING JAYA (Jan 9): Global real estate consultancy firm JLL expects Asia Pacific’s overall real estate transaction volumes in 2019 to rise by 5% – although the pace of growth momentum will slow down.

SINGAPORE (Dec 17): Although Malaysian cities have seen a significant rise in the rankings for cost of living for expatriate workers, they remain the cheapest locations in Asia for expats, according to the latest Cost of Living survey by ECA International.

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime residential price growth across global cities has slowed, in the 12 months leading up to the second quarter of 2018 (2Q18), according to Knight Frank’s Prime Global Cities Index.

PETALING JAYA (July 3): The housing and commercial property glut in Kuala Lumpur is not a great cause for concern as the market will eventually adjust itself to accommodate the excessive supply, said the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP) president Ihsan Zainal Mokhtar.
