The operations will focus on tourist hotspots to curb bad habits among locals and tourists who often dispose of small litter such as cigarette butts and drink bottles in public areas, as well as spit on walkways, which not only dirties the surroundings but also tarnishes the country’s image.
“The cooperation formalised today opens new opportunities for Kuala Lumpur to expand its global network, understand development approaches in East Africa, and enhance the city’s technical capacity in line with current needs,” said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa.

Zaliha stressed that demand for homes in Kuala Lumpur remains strong, noting that unsold units in the city declined by 10.
