PETALING JAYA (Aug 26): MUI Properties Bhd slipped into the red in the fourth quarter ended June 30, 2026 (4QFY2026), weighed down by an impairment loss on an investment property, a fair value loss on other investments and lower revenue.
For its property-related businesses, the group remained vigilant in the timing of the new launches and challenges associated with sales, in view of the global geopolitical conflicts and the macroeconomic inflationary impacts on construction, material, and labour costs.
The group said earnings were dragged down by higher operating expenses of RM170.
