The scope of work includes the construction of five reinstated stations along the LRT3 line, the construction of two electric vehicle bus depots in Shah Alam and Johan Setia, the supply of light rail vehicles as well as construction-related infrastructure and system works.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke stated that the trial run without passengers will be conducted in two phases to ensure the safety of the LRT3 service.

Regarding the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link project, Loke announced that infrastructure work in Malaysia had reached 65% as of the end of December last year, while system work was 33.
