Kerjaya Prospek said the scope of the project, clinched through its wholly owned subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, includes the construction of 360 units of three-storey terrace houses, alongside a clubhouse, landscaping works, and other related infrastructure.
Kerjaya Prospek issued the redemption notice to the investment vehicle, Javawana Sdn Bhd, on Dec 9, according to the property development company’s bourse filing on Thursday.
Analysts now expect Kerjaya Prospek to dish out a record-high dividend totalling 15 sen per share, following the latest planned distribution of seven sen per share.
Net profit for the three months ended Sept 30, 2024 (3QFY2024), stood at RM46.
The group plans to launch new projects in Shah Alam and Damansara Damai in calendar year 2025, with a combined estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM700 million.
The development, to span seven years from end-2024, will see the construction of 338 affordable housing units, 1,680 residential units, service apartments, as well as retail shops and offices.
Kerjaya’s construction division is primarily involved in the building of high-rise residential and commercial buildings for premium developer clients in Malaysia.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Friday, Kerjaya Prospek said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd (KP), has served a writ of summons and statement of claim to Yong Tai and Datuk Boo Kuang Loon.
