KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 6): Mah Sing Group Bhd has acquired a 4.515-acre site that comes with approved development order for a residential development  in Wangsa Melawati, Kuala Lumpur for RM61.97 million.

Based on preliminary plans, the proposed project named M Adora will comprise two blocks of affordable housing with an estimated gross development value of RM378 million, said the developer in a statement today.

The units in the project have indicative built-up sizes from 850 sq ft while the indicative starting price is from RM468,000. As M Adora has a North-South orientation, it enables purchasers to enjoy unblocked KLCC views and scenic view of Genting Highlands, said Mah Sing.

The M Adora site is located 800m from the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) with direct access from Jalan Wangsa Melawati 1. It is also just a 900m walk from Wangsa Maju Mall’s covered walkway to Sri Rampai LRT (light rail transit) station.

The acquisition of M Adora in Wangsa Melawati, Mukim Setapak is Mah Sing’s third land deal this year. The other two are for the M Oscar development in Kuchai Lama and M Luna in Kepong. M Oscar is currently open for registration of interest while M Luna and M Adora will both be open for registration of interest by 4Q2019.

“This has once again proven our commitment in expanding our landbank for projects in strategic locations in the Klang Valley and are ready for immediate development,” said Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum.

With its quick turnaround model, the developer believes M Adora will be able to match the current market demand for affordable housing that comes with ample amenities.

“This is what we call luxury you can afford,” said Leong.
