LONDON: CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has won the "Best International Property Consultancy" of 2010 title at the International Property Awards, it announced in a press statement dated Dec 13.

"Winning this highly-coveted award is a strong endorsement of our people and platform as well as our ability to develop innovative solutions that enable our clients to succeed throughout market cycles," said its chief executive officer (CEO) Brett White.

Meanwhile, CBRE Malaysia executive chairman Chris Boyd said: " We are extremely proud of our position as the best property consultant in every region of the world. This reaffirms our commitment to setting a high benchmark for property consultancy, and attests to the success of our people in delivering exceptional service.”

In its 15th year, the International Property Awards was held in association with Bloomberg Television and the New York Times and is widely-regarded as one of the more prominent property award and competition.

The judging panel this year included Google UK's industry head property of markets James Bacon; National Federation of Property Professionals group chief executive Peter Bolton King; International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) president elect Cristopher Hall; the International Consortium of Real Estate Agents Association (ICREA); Australia Institute of Architects chairman Fiona Nixon; International Homes Luxury Collection magazine editor-in-chief Helen Shield; and German Real Estate Association CEO Sven Johns.
