KUALA LUMPUR: CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has been named as the top global real estate advisor and consultancy firm in the 2010 Euromoney Real Estate Awards that took place in Hong Kong, making it the fourth time CBRE won the prestigious title since Euromoney began the awards in 2005.

In addition to winning the overall Global Real Estate Advisor and Consultancy award, the real estate advisor was also voted as the number one advisor in Asia and Western Europe regions as well as global awards in the Industrial, Corporate Real Estate, Valuation and Property Management categories.

CBRE president and CEO for Asia Chris Brooke said that the reward is very rewarding as it gives client recognition for industry leadership in Asia and that "we are mindful that in a dynamic region such as Asia, the ability to adapt to changing client needs is critical — this is an area upon which we will continue to focus as we look to support and add value to the business objectives of our clients throughout the region".

Euromoney is an international finance publication, which annually polls its readers — corporate and financial decision makers in more than 160 countries — to identify the best advisors, developers and banks in the real estate market on a global, regional and individual country basis.
