SHANGHAI: China State Construction Engineering Corp, the country's construction giant, said on Wednesday, Oct 13 its total sales in the first three quarters of 2010 rose 20.4% over a year-ago.

The firm said total sales recorded for the first nine months of the year was 44.5 billion yuan (RM20.65 billion), although the total area transacted fell 4.5% from a year ago to 4.26 million square metres.

The firm also said it won 406 billion yuan worth of new contracts in the January-September period, up 63.8% from a year ago. — Reuters
