BOSTON: US-based Millennium Partners is developing the Millennium Tower Boston, located northeast from New York. The 60-storey skyscraper is designed by Blake Middleton of Handel Architects. The US$630 million (RM2.1 billion) building will comprise 422 high-end residential units, said Richard Baumert, partner at Millennium Partners, in a press release recently.

The residential units will comprise City Residences, Grand Residences and Penthouses that range in size from 759 sq ft to 12,846 sq ft. They are priced between US$850,000 and US$37.5 million. Residents are expected to move in mid-2016.

The building will have as it tenant the Mina at The Tower restaurant owned by American celebrity chef Michael Mina. The restaurant is exclusive to residents and guests. Fitness brand FLX by Millennium will also be housed in the tower.

Other facilities include a 24-hour concierge, valet service and high-speed elevators. A luxury two-storey club will have an indoor pool, serviced lounge, function room and eateries.

According to Millennium Partners’ website, future projects include a 47-storey mixed development in San Francisco, which incorporates a restoration of the Aronson Building and the Mexican Museum. It is expected to open in 2017.
