Mahajaya chairman sells all 3.85m shares

KUALA LUMPUR: Mahajaya Bhd chairman Muhamad Shapiae Mat Ali disposed of all his 3.856 million shares or 1.4% in the property company on Wednesday, Aug 3.

On the same day, deputy group managing director Tan Ming Ban acquired 2.738 million units or 1% on the same day.

Filings with Bursa Malaysia on Thursday showed the shares were transacted at 60 sen a piece on Wednesday while the share price closed at 74 sen.

Tan’s direct stake in the company increased to 19.96% or 54.70 million shares after the recent acquisition. Muhamad Shapiae's indirect stake is 19.51% or 53.44 million.
