Majuperak sees 3Q net loss of RM618,000

KUALA LUMPUR: Majuperak Holdings Bhd recorded a net loss of RM618,000 from a net loss of RM2.126 million a year ago for its thirs quarter (3Q) financial results ended Sept 30, 2010, the group announced on Monday, Nov 20.

Revenue earned during the same period rose 168% to RM3.623 million from RM1.354 million a year ago.

The group attributed the increase in revenue to the sales of development land.

The basic loss per share was 0.38 sen for the quarter under review compared to the loss of 1.96 sen a year ago. The net assets per share decreased to RM1.27 as at Sept 30, 2010 compared to RM1.36 in the preceding financial year end.
