KUALA LUMPUR: All 636 units of the first phase of YTL Land & Development Bhd’s Midfields 2 in Sungai Besi, Selangor, were snapped up during the launch last weekend with sales of RM400 million.

The first phase comprises two 21-storey blocks while the next phase consists of one 21-storey block with 156 units.

“Although we had received more than 5,000 registrants, it was humbling to see our customers’ confidence in Midfields 2. It proves that a competitively priced product in the right location is always attractive to genuine home buyers,” YTL Land and Development executive director Datuk Yeoh Seok Kian said in a statement recently.

Midfields 2 is sited on a 9.26-acre (3.75ha) leasehold parcel in Jalan Besi Kawi in Sungai Besi and is targeted for completion in June 2018.

The typical units consist of three bedrooms and two bathrooms with built-ups from 1,044 sq ft to 1,152 sq ft. The starting price is RM499,000 or an average of RM500 per sq ft.

All units will have four air conditioners. There is one parking bay for each unit in one of the blocks and two bays per unit in the other block.

The built-ups of the units in the last phase will be similar. However, the prices, additional features and launch date will be confirmed later, said a company spokesman.
