SHAH ALAM: The Selangor State Development Corp (PKNS) is confident it can rake in RM55 million in sales from its latest medium/high-end project Ayuqaseh in Alam Nusantara, Setia Alam in Shah Alam.

PKNS development controller for the northern region, Noraida Mohd Yusof said response to the 170 units of 2-storey link houses has been good with some 300 registrations received since last month, she told reporters on the sidelines of the sales launch of Ayuqaseh on Dec 8.

The freehold development has been completed with certificate of fitness (CF) given in November this year. It is PKNS's first project in Setia Alam.

The units have built-ups of between 1,800 sq ft and 1,900 sq ft while prices range from RM335,000 to RM538,560.

Noraida said PKNS plans to launch three new projects in this area next year including the Ayupuri link houses scheduled for launch next month. Ayupuri is also a medium/high-end development. The leasehold project comprises 144 units of 2-storey link houses completed with CF.

PKNS has 600 acres of land in Setia Alam of which half has been developed. PKNS acquired the land four years ago for RM282 million from S P Setia Bhd.
