Augusta

PUTRAJAYA (Feb 23): Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd, the master developer of Putrajaya, is offering 31 units of Augusta 2.5-storey luxury semi-dees from RM2.6 million.

The company’s marketing general manager Sabariah Ramli told TheEdgeProperty.com the project — in Precinct 12, Putrajaya — had its soft launch in 3Q2015.

“However, we did not aggressively push Augusta to the market as the company is focusing on other projects. Currently, the project is nearing completion and is expected to be completed by the end of this year,” she said.

Augusta is divided into three phases, but Sabariah did not disclose the details of the upcoming phases.

The 31 units of freehold semi-dees — where each boasts a private lap pool and private lift — have built-up sizes between 4,291 sq ft and 4,794 sq ft, making them suitable for big families who want to live under one roof, she said.

Although the company has not decided on the official launch date, Sabariah believes that Augusta will attract buyers who are looking for a resort living lifestyle and want a spacious living environment.

Augusta“Augusta is a one-of-a-kind residential development which is built in a resort environment that is surrounded by greenery and the first man-made wetland in Malaysia — Taman Wetlands. The residences in Precinct 12 are replete with a host of green design features amidst an evergreen architecture,” she explained.

All the units also come with a solar panel water heater and rainwater harvesting system.

Sabariah said currently there are approximately 40,000 people working in Putrajaya and 80,000 living there, so demand for houses — especially landed homes — has increased over the years.

“Besides that, our track record has shown that most of our buyers are upgraders who come from neighborhoods outside Putrajaya such as Ampang, Setiawangsa and Keramat,” she added.
