KUALA LUMPUR: Sunway Property, the property arm of Sunway Bhd, will launch the second phase of its residential component of the RM3.7 billion Sunway Velocity in Cheras, the V Residences 2 this month.
“During previous launches, we had received a lot of positive feedback from buyers and investors who have attributed their interest in Sunway Velocity to the excellent accessibility and strategic location,” executive director of the property development division of the central region, Ong Ghee Bin, said in a statement recently.
“We believe that Sunway V Residences 2 will achieve similar success. Sunway Velocity is set to bring value to its communities with the same co-investment model that has guaranteed Sunway Resort’s City’s resounding success.”
V Residences 2 will be launched at the end of this month. Sunway also plans to launch the third phase of its residential component by year-end and the fourth and final phase will be launched at a later date.
The V Residences 2 comprises 334 units of which 13 are cabana-style apartments with layouts of two rooms and 2+1 rooms. The built-ups of the cabana-style units range from 850 sq ft to 1,136 sq ft and the serviced residences are from 850 sq ft to 1,130 sq ft. The cabana-style units are located on the facility floor and come with private garden areas.
All units will have a panoramic view of KLCC. A two-acre (0.8092ha) park, a double facility deck and security are provided by the developer. There are also rooftop facilities comprising an astronomy observation deck, sky cinema, sky gym and sky floating deck. V Residences 2 is expected to be completed in 2017.
Sunway Velocity is an integrated mixed development sited on 23 acres of freehold land. The development comprises residential, commercial, office and retail components. It is 3.8km from the KL city centre.
Sunway has taken the initiative to provide accessibility and connectivity within the development by improving the infrastructure around the area. It includes a covered link bridge walkway to two MRT stations, a tunnel with a direct link from Jalan Cheras to the basement carpark of a shopping mall and an underpass from Jalan Cheras to Jalan Peel.
