KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 19): Lembaga Tabung Haji (LTH) has terminated the services of one of its subcontractors for the Tabung Haji Complex due to delay in works completion.

In a statement today, LTH said it had paid only 10.83% to one of its subcontractors for the Tabung Haji Complex due to delay in works completion.

It said that the amount paid was in accordance with the agreement stipulated in the contract, in which the subcontractor had only completed 17% of the project so far.

The services of the subcontractor were terminated by Turnkey Development Contractor TH.

The Tabung Haji Complex is situated close to Kuala Lumpur International Airport and slated for completion by end-2017.

The pilgrimage fund added that with regards to the Tun Razak Exchange, it had only purchased one plot of land. -- theedgemarkets.com
