Maple Residences

PETALING JAYA (Nov 16): Block C of Maple Residences serviced apartments in Bandar Bestari Klang, Selangor, by KSL Holdings Bhd is 40% sold since it was launched on Nov 1, said project director Patrick Khoo.

Meanwhile, Blocks A and B, which were launched in August, have take-up rates of 95% and 85%, respectively.

The three blocks have a total 576 units, with built-ups from 863 to 1,264 sq ft and prices ranging from RM512,380 to RM889,680.

Maple Residences has a gross development value of RM500 million and will come up on 4.5 acres of freehold land.

The project is scheduled for completion in June 2018.

Khoo noted that the property market in the past two months was bad due to poor economic conditions and political instability.

“But we believe that it is just a temporary state as consumers will be accustomed to the change in living cost and will start purchasing homes again,” he adds.

He expects prospective buyers to feel more confident about their project once the construction of KSL City Mall 2 – set to be one of Klang’s largest malls with a gross floor area of 2.2 million sq ft – begins at the end of this year.

The mall is 300m away from Maple Residences and is expected to add more vibrancy to the surrounding area, he said.

“Currently, soil investigation work has started. We are targeting to start piling works by the first quarter of next year,” Khoo added.
