During cross-examination in his SRC International Sdn Bhd trial, Najib said he believed that all the monies he spent from his AmBank account between 2011 and 2015 originated from donations.

During cross-examination with ad-hoc prosecutor Datuk V Sithambaram, Najib said he removed Nik Faisal from the post following complaints by SRC's chairman at the time, Tan Sri Ismee Ismail, that he was not a man of integrity.

While cross-examining Najib, ad hoc prosecutor Datuk V Sithambaram said Husni, who was the second finance minister at the time, was not consulted despite protocol dictating otherwise.

He made the plea today before Sessions Court judge Azura Alwi, who had set bail at RM350,000 with the accused to surrender his passport to the court.

Deputy public prosecutor (DPP) Datuk V Sithambaram said the prosecution had narrowed down the disputed exhibits to seven documents, comprising shareholder minutes, shareholder resolutions and a bank transfer instruction.

The senior counsel asked the witness whether the NAD was forced to make changes to the report, and told her to point out these instances, based on the transcription of the recording of the meeting held on Feb 24, 2016.

Justice Datuk Indera Mohd Sofian Abd Razak allowed the application today, as there were no objections.
