The Federal Government agrees with the Kelantan government's proposal to extend the runway at the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport by 400 metres for it to become an international airport.

The Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) has allocated RM500,000 for work to upgrade the famous Gerbang Malam market in Jalan Dato Tahwil Azar here.

Founder and managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said in a statement Monday (April 4) that the company is set to launch M Senyum in Sepang, M Astra in Setapak, M Nova in Kepong, M Panora in Rawang, Selangor, the remaining phases for Ferringhi Residences in Penang and double-storey linked units in Meridin East, Johor Bahru.

Sabah Assistant Minister for Rural Development Harun Durabi said repairs would also be made to the existing 2,900 units of houses under the programme.
