Johor led with the most first doses administered with 27,137 shots, followed by Selangor (19,767), Perak (13,308) and Kuala Lumpur (8,366)

Under the agreement with the donor nations, the vaccine doses are meant to be given free to the public.

On its outlook, the group said notwithstanding the initiatives launched to counter the impact of the pandemic, the economy is expected to recover at a slower pace in view of the prevailing weak business environment and consumer sentiments.

Besides Sarawak, lower daily figures were also seen for places including Sabah and Kuala Lumpur.
