Northern Corridor Implementation Authority names Redza Rafiq CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Redza Rafiq on Monday, Dec 28 was appointed CEO of the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority.

Prior to this Redza served for three years as managing director of Cyberview Sdn Bhd, the landowner and master developer of Cyberjaya.

Crest Builder awarded contract to build serviced apartment

KUALA LUMPUR: Crest Builder Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Crest Builder Holdings Bhd, has been awarded a contract by Messrs Exceljade Sdn Bhd for the construction of super-structure works of two towers of 40 storey serviced apartments for a contract sum of RM175.5 million.

Rating for 10 local authorities raise

KUALA LUMPUR: The performance rating for 10 local authorities has been raised through regrading under the star-rating system for local authorities (SSR-PBT), after obtaining one more star or more.

The Kuala Terengganu City Council showed much improvement by obtaining four- star rating from two-star previously.

KUALA LUMPUR: LBS Bina Bhd expects to launch its last phase of Taman Royal Lily in Cameron Highlands in 1Q2010. Its last phase comprises 26 units of 2-storey link houses (pictured), 5-storey shop apartments and 11 bungalow lots.

The 30-acre Taman Royal Lily has a combined gross development value of RM26.1 million.
