尽管政府允许综合物业大楼的管理委员会（management corporation，简称MC）可根据不同类型的房产，由居民或业主另外成立附属管理委员会（sub-MC），但马来西亚估量师协会（RISM）前任秘书长Chan Keat Lim认为，成立附属管理委员会仍充满挑战。 他在日前的“分层地契——最新发展与当前问题”讲座会上表示，其中一个最大的挑战，就是管理委员会必须为附属委员会的支出开销，拟定一份特别规划报告并寻求通过。 这个特别规划报告必须经由估量师审核，当中也将涉及另一笔费用。 他说，“准备这个特别规划报告并不容易，举例来说，估量师目前的收费市价是每平方米RM2，假设相关建筑的面积为100,000平方米，审核费用就需要RM200,000。” 此外，一些综合发展项目的共用空间也很难依据不同产业类型来划清界限，再者，估量师也需要土木与电气工程师协助，推算开销支出。 设立附属管理委员会的另一项挑战是，必须等到一个发展计划中的所有项目都完工，并且三分之二的单位都转名给各个业主后，才可以设立附属管理委员会。 与此同时，成立附属管理委员会需要业主投票通过，在其他项目未完工移交之前，单位持有人只是买家，不具有投票权。 英文版已于2018年7月12日上载EdgeProp.
Ipoh's animation theme park to drop DreamWorks' attractions
KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 8): Perak Corp Bhd's indirect 51%-owned subsidiary Animation Theme Park Sdn Bhd (ATP) has dropped plans to include DreamWorks' attractions at its Movie Animation Park Studio (MAPS) in Ipoh, Perak, after both parties failed to reach agreement to open the DreamWorks' attractions to the public by Aug 1.
