由繁化简，是极简主义爱好者努力追求的境界，但简单不代表简陋，如何运用简单的摆设与大自然结合，营造恬静舒适的环境，考验着设计师的实力。 CocoKacang创办人Amy Liang认为，设计应从细节着手，欣赏大自然之美，并在物件中寻找连接。 这样的概念或许听起来很抽象，但只要到访过由她操刀设计的Breakfast Thieves Café就大概可以领略到她的意思。这间咖啡厅为澳洲墨尔本知名Breakfast Thieves Café的首家海外分店，位于Bangsar Jalan Riong的APW。 APW原为印刷厂，经由业主重新改造，保留建筑物原有架构，再增设Paper Plate——面积达6,400平方尺餐饮区，一个采用开放式与自然采光设计的空间。 Breakfast Thieves café的所在地点恰好位于Paper Plate的较高楼层，可以一览花园绿景以及看到对面的活动场地。 运用这样的优势，Liang采用木制叠式家居、铁制挂钩加上传统的灯泡，以及简约的黑白与木色色调搭配，营造出与大自然结合的静谧感。 Liang披露，人们开始欣赏简单的事物，例如最传统的灯泡，当我们想要使用灯泡的时候，管理层其实另有意见，因觉得过于简单，但在她极力争取与说服下，他们终于同意，而结果也令人惊艳。 原文已于2017年夏季的Haven月刊刊登，点此查阅更多精彩图文！ Click here for English version!
