Property market to stabilise in 2019

  KAJANG (April 30): The Malaysian property market has gradually improved over 2018 and is expected to stabilise this year, on the back of increases in volume and value of total transactions at the end of 2018, according to the National Property Information Centre (NAPIC) of the Department of Valuation and Property Services.

SD Plantation claims palace was used in Merlimau land deal

KUALA LUMPUR (April 30): Sime Darby Plantation Bhd (SDP) has filed a judicial review application to stop the compulsory acquisition of its 75ha land in Merlimau, Melaka, by a Taiwan-controlled company that claimed it was acting in the interest of the former Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V, to compel it to sell the land at a below market value price of RM35.
