The event, which took place at Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) 2023 at Setia Fontaines, Bertam, is a continuation of Setia Foundation’s signature programme, Sincerely, Setia Unity in Diversity Programme.

30 wheelchairs were provided to six selected nursing homes, NGOs, and hospitals in Penang PENANG (Oct 4): S P Setia Foundation, the charitable arm of S P Setia Bhd yesterday contributed 30 wheelchairs to six selected nursing homes, NGOs, and hospitals here, “marking its inaugural contribution outside of the Klang Valley”.

“The initiative aims to improve the well-being of patients undergoing prolonged medical treatments and veterans of police and army forces who face mobility and health issues.

“We appreciate Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Nur Ehsan for this collaboration and would like to thank them for letting us have a successful programme with them,” said Datuk Zuraidah Atan, S P Setia Foundation chairman and a director of S P Setia JOHOR BAHRU (May 25): S P Setia’s charity arm S P Setia Foundation continues to pay it forward with a visit to Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Nur Ehsan women’s old folks’ home here yesterday.

In line with S P Setia Foundation’s second Trust Object, the workshop is aimed to provide assistance in meeting the needs of Malaysians who are underprivileged, disabled, poverty stricken or critically ill.

The event was held in collaboration with Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS) and Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) and involved more than 80 volunteers from S P Setia's Team Setia and also staff from YSS and IEM.

“In 2022, this mission saw the group extending support to a wide range of organisations and demographics through initiatives such as our annual Buggy of Joy charity drive, ringing in the lunar new year with charitable cheer,” said group executive director of Tropicana, Jared Ang.

The gift baskets, containing dry food such as rice, crackers, cooking condiments, instant beverages, and essentials like towels and underpads, were delivered to the 28 residents at the home who are aged from 65 to 93 years.

The foundation yesterday delivered gift bags to 36 senior residents of Joy Garden Old Folks’ Home, which contained toiletries and essentials such as pyjamas, socks, a bath towel, face towel, shampoo, shower gel, toilet rolls, instant oat drinks sponsored by OatLife and biscuits.
