The purchase of Cloud Space could lead the way for Gamuda to tap into the RM36 billion technology services market, with core offerings in cloud and artificial KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 10): Gamuda Bhd (KL:GAMUDA) is acquiring a 20% stake in Cloud Space Sdn Bhd, a Google Cloud premier partner, for RM18 million.
The stock has also benefitted from a slew of news on highly-lucrative jobs to build data centres.
The schools will be developed in two phases and cater to 2,400 students across 48 classrooms once completed.
This strategic partnership aims to offer a holistic education experience at an accessible price point for families within and around Gamuda Gardens, Rawang and Gamuda Cove, Kuala Langat.
The contract, a “fast-track project” awarded to a wholly owned subsidiary of Gamuda by BCEI Malaysia Sdn Bhd, will begin to contribute in the current financial year ending July 31, 2025.
Combined with the main design and build contract, the overall project value will be RM15.
The curriculum is run as a fully sponsored community project by Yayasan Gamuda, and is open to students, graduates, professionals and start-up founders up to the age of 40, who have an interest in learning AI.
The 1,111-acre wetlands was opened to the public in January 2020 and jointly managed by Gamuda Land Leisure and Perhilitan until October 2024.
The project will comprise 38 turbines with a generating capacity of 228 megawatts when the wind farm begins operations in 2027, Gamuda said in a statement.
