KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 27): SD Guthrie Bhd (KL:SDG) and the Selangor state government have entered a strategic partnership to explore a massive integrated development on Carey Island that is set to be a "critical component" of the Carey Island Port—the planned third terminal for Port Klang.
The project is set within a 1,000-acre lake environment and features modern lakeside living.

E&O managing director Kok Tuck Cheong is confident the contiguous layout of the island being reclaimed by E&O as well as its amenities and capacity would give it an edge over other sites.
The contract involves the construction of residential units across two phases.
According to Kerjaya Prospek's announcement to Bursa Malaysia, the contract covers the execution and completion of a foundation piling system and pile caps, the construction of a basement and two levels of lower ground and all associated site works and earthworks for the proposed two blocks of 52 storey service apartments.
The “marina-inspired living” homes have sizes ranging from 979 sq ft for the two-bedroom units while three-bedroom units range from 1,177 to 1,356 sq ft.
