The Johor-based property developer said its wholly owned subsidiary Panoramic Industrial Development Sdn Bhd (PID) had entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Microsoft Payments (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the proposed deal.
The Johor Golf and Country Club (JGCC) project was awarded by Tanjung Nakhoda (M) Sdn Bhd, said Fajarbaru in a stock exchange filing on Tuesday.

In a sector update on Friday, the research house said that if the government decides to proceed with the Johor Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) projects, it could boost demand for residential, commercial and industrial properties in Iskandar Malaysia in the coming years, leading to an increase in prices for strategically located parcels of land.
This would be the second land acquisition in Iskandar Malaysia by the group within a span of less than five months.
