The JS-SEZ must “never depend on the sitting administration of the day, or the whims and desires of individual politicians”, Minister of Economy Datuk Seri Mohd Rafizi Ramli said.
The blueprint will serve as a "one-stop document" for potential investors, regulators, and the public, offering greater clarity on the fiscal incentives, strategic direction and development roadmap for the special economic zone, said Minister of Economy Datuk Seri Mohd Rafizi Ramli on Monday.
The signatories include Malayan Banking Bhd, CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, CGS International, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Malaysia, Bank of America Malaysia, and HSBC Malaysia.
The building is proposed to stand 62 storeys tall, with service apartments taking up 35 floors, while the hotel takes up nine floors.
The 32-month project is slated to start on May 15 and to be completed on Jan 14, 2028.
The dispute revolves around an alleged outstanding contract sum of RM105.
The contract involves the construction of a 47-storey tower comprising 732 serviced apartment units.
The work involves site clearance, delivery of piles, and piling works for a new women and children’s block at Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital.
