The Park Collection

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 6): UK-based property developer Redrow Homes will launch The Park Collection on Jan 14, 2017, which is the latest phase at its Colindale Gardens development in London.

The Park Collection will have a total of 119 apartments, offering a mixture of studio apartments and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments alongside two-, three- and four-bedroom Park Walk Townhouses, and is due for completion in the summer of 2019.

The Park Collection homes will overlook a four-acre (1.62ha) park located in the centre of Colindale Gardens, and will be fully equipped with a gym, including a sauna and steam room, along with a dedicated concierge service located within the development area.

On the inside, all apartments and townhouses in The Park Collection will have a spacious open plan living and dining area that extends onto a private balcony or terrace, with interiors that will include Siemens kitchen appliances, underfloor heating throughout the apartments and contemporary built-in wardrobes to the master bedrooms with sliding doors.

Properties in The Park Collection will also have access to the central podium courtyard located on the first floor of the property.

Meanwhile, Redrow’s Colindale Gardens will span 47 acres comprising 2,900 new homes when it is completed, with accessibility to Central London within 25 minutes via the Northern Line at the Colindale underground station.

Redrow is also investing £11 million (RM60.62 million) into improving transportation routes surrounding the development areas, including enhancements to Colindale Station and bus routes around the local area.

“Following the success of our Park Walk Townhouse collection, we are confident these homes will be very popular with buyers. With the recent launch of the Weekend Night Tube on the Northern Line, these homes are ideal for professionals and families who want to benefit from the close proximity to Central London while still having access to leafy, green spaces for outdoor pursuits,” said Redrow North London managing director Mark Parker.

The construction of Colindale Garden will continue over a 12-year period with an estimated development cost of £1 billion.

There will be a regeneration scheme which will see the transformation of the disused 1960s tower blocks and adjacent land, which was a former Metropolitan Police training college and formerly known as the Peel Centre.

Besides new homes, a new primary school has been proposed.

The regeneration scheme will also connect existing neighbourhoods within the area which will contribute to a network of streets, paths and attractive rural spaces.

The scheme will also see 100,000 sq ft of retail and commercial space.
