Banyan Tree introduces Cassia in Phuket

SINGAPORE (Aug 13): Banyan Tree will open the first Cassia -- a new brand that combines hotel and serviced apartments - in Phuket, Thailand, this October.

The hotel will be  located within Banyan Tree’s integrated resort, Laguna Phuket and will offer 221 units of one and two-bedroom apartments featuring a living room and fully equipped kitchen.

Many apartments will have a loft hang-out area offering panoramic views of the lagoon, ocean or park.

In 2017, Cassia Phuket will introduce a second tower with 326 residences, a meeting space and gym in 2017.

Guests at Cassia will be able to enjoy free Wi-fi, two pools, a private area at Bang Tao Beach, spa, mini convenience mart, and home delivery service and touch-screen concierge.

The new brand will also offer hotel dining called Market 23 and social bar, Street Bar, which will have performances by in-house DJs and original works of Thai street artists.
