In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, it said the bills of demand were issued to its wholly-owned unit Puncak Niaga Management Services Sdn Bhd (PNMSSB), for the period Feb 1, 2016 to Dec 31, 2017.
The property developer said the proceeds from the issuance will also be used to repay borrowings, for working capital and to defray expenses incurred in relation to the sukuk issuance.
The scheme, which will be rolled out from Jan 1 to Feb 29 next year, will entail giving RM30 to each Malaysian aged at least 18 years earning below RM100,000 per annum, which can be used to pay for goods and services through these selected providers.
