Husni had testified that he was instructed to sign documents pertaining to the government guarantee for SRC’s first RM2 billion from Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP) despite not having sufficient documentation to scrutinise the arrangement. 

Ahmad Husni said he decided to resign when Najib told him after an Economic Action Council meeting in June 2016 to move to the Housing and Local Government Ministry before the 1MDB rationalisation was completed. 

Shafee: Did you associate those accusations with Datuk Seri Najib… including the police report of sexual harassment allegation by your own female staff?

Husni: Yes.

Abdul Azeez, who is also MP for Baling, Kedah, is accused of receiving a total of RM5.2 million from Menuju Asas Sdn Bhd director Mohammad Redzuan Mohanan Abdullah as reward for assisting the firm to secure RM842.2 million worth of government roadwork projects in Perak and Kedah.

This was revealed by appointed public prosecutor Datuk V Sithambaram during the re-examination of 54th prosecution witness Joanna Yu, the former AmBank relationship manager who was Low Taek Jho's go-to person in the bank when it comes to the management of accounts belonging to Najib and SRC International Sdn Bhd.

"Who is OP?" asked Sithambaram.

Yu replied: "To my understanding OP was a term — Optimus Prime, I don't know — to refer to the Prime Minister."

The BBM transcript showed an exchange between Yu and Jho Low, where Yu tweaked the date of the instruction letter from Dec 24, 2014 to Dec 29, 2014.

This was to reverse transactions worth RM32 million.

Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, his wife, his brother and two others have applied to strike out the RM52.6 million civil suit filed against them by businessman Deepak Jaikishan claiming conspiracy and fraud.

Umno Pekan committee member Ibrahim Awang Ismail, from whom the anti-graft agency has claimed RM100,000, filed a first representation on July 16 to settle half of that value.
