KUALA LUMPUR (March 20): Property developer Rivertree STF Synergies Bhd (KL:RSSB) plans to diversify into the management of centralised labour quarters to reduce overall earnings volatility, it said in a bourse filing on Thursday.
KUALA LUMPUR (March 4): Rivertree STF Synergies Bhd (KL:RSSB), formerly known as Sinmah Capital Bhd, has entered into a heads of agreement (HOA) to collaborate on the design, construction and operation of up to four centralised labour quarters (CLQs) in the Klang Valley, with a total indicative value of RM600 million.
The development is designed with facial recognition access, CCTV coverage, 24-hour security and comprehensive worker amenities, including canteens, prayer facilities and laundry services.
HALO will be a 10-storey, purpose-built labour quarters development, with a capacity to house 3,000 workers.
Advancecon, an earthworks and civil engineering specialist, will contribute its technical, sales and marketing expertise for the execution of the JV's projects, focusing on upgrading and constructing new centralised labour quarters.
To enable more mothers to pursue their careers, adequate and accessible childcare facilities are vital to support working families.
The CLQ, with a built-up area of 67,611 sq ft, comprises seven blocks of three-storey modular houses.
The project comprises the development and construction of 672 units of centralised labour quarters on a 10.

Located in Asrama Murni in Jelapang, near Ipoh, the pilot project is a public-private partnership in which Advancecon will contribute the necessary technical expertise to reduce the risk of CLQ implementation.
