趋势:千禧世代将主导未来零售业市场

随着千禧年世代逐渐进入黄金消费年龄,竞争激烈的零售业快步转型,结合网购与实体店体验,以期借此吸睛(金)! 房地产咨询公司Savills Malaysia在“亚洲城市报告——2019年上半年吉隆坡零售”报告中指出,千禧世代将成为大马未来的主流消费者,因正处在黄金消费年龄的千禧世代(介于19岁至35岁)将占全马总人口的29%或940万人。 为了迎合这部分人群,我国的零售趋势已转变为结合网购和实体店的形态。该公司表示,“这样千禧世代便能够同时享受实体店的体验和网购的便利。” 与以往不同,今天的商场不能再仅靠几个大型的、受欢迎的品牌吸引人潮。不过,餐饮店仍是吸引人潮的主力之一,因为它们能提供人们社交和进行经济互动的空间。 由于大多数的商场都提供相似的产品和服务,预计新商场的加入将进一步分散大吉隆坡地区(包括吉隆坡市区和巴生谷郊区)的人流。报告指,“这意味着零售商将继续面对激烈的竞争。” 事实上,新进商场已经导致一些旧商场的客流量减少。这是因为这些旧商场的零售商和商品选择较少,部分旧商场的管理和维护也差强人意。 新商场进驻加剧零售业竞争 Savills表示,大量的零售空间即将涌现,迫使商场经营者重新思考能够吸引消费者的因素,包括地点、交通便利性、商场主题、目标市场、租客组合、停车位手否足够、安全性和整洁度。 2018年,大吉隆坡地区的零售空间面积按年增加3.
