Saloma Link行人天桥于2月5日正式开通后，想要从Kampung Baru去到KLCC的行人，再也不必大费周章地穿越繁忙的道路前往目的地了。 这座造价RM3100万的行人天桥，不仅是推动Kampung Baru现代化进程的项目之一，也是吉隆坡市中心最新的地标。 该行人天桥的发起单位是Kampung Baru Development Corp（PKB），而负责操刀设计的是VERITAS Design Group，该公司也正参与Kampong Baru重新发展的总体规划。 VERITAS Design Group负责人Azril Amir Jaafar 在新闻稿中说道：“除了改善隆市的步行连接，这条行人天桥也真正地把KLCC与Kampung Baru连接起来。” 长达370米的Saloma Link的两个出入口，分别是在靠近Kampung Baru轻快铁（LRT）站的Lorong Raja Muda Musa 3与毗邻Menara Public Bank及Petronas Twin Towers的Jalan Saloma。 设计灵感来自摈榔叶 这道天桥横跨Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway（AKLEH）与巴生河，为这个传统的马来甘榜地区及隆市中心带来非常便利的连接，让人们在不到10分钟的时间就能来往两地。 Azril指出，Saloma Link的设计灵感来自于槟榔叶，这是一种在马来婚宴中有着特别意义的叶片。 “在这座天桥的设计方面，这种设计代表着两个被巴生河区分开来的地区的结合。” 这个独特的设计能够让天桥获得充足的自然光，并且可以在桥上欣赏到Petronas Twin Towers与其他地标建筑所勾勒出的美景。 英文版原文已在2020年1月8日上载至EdgeProp.
