Cheap travel passes boost MRT use, says report

KUALA LUMPUR (March 6): January ridership for the Sungai Buloh-Kajang (MRT SBK) mass rapid transit rail line has gone up by 40% since the authorities introduced subsidised travel passes, reported The Malay Mail today.

MRCB closes 2018 lower on absence of disposal gain, re-timing of LRT3 job

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 27): Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB), whose largest shareholder is the Employees Provident Fund, closed out 2018 on a low note on absence of one-off disposal gains recognised in 2017, and slowing down of construction work on the Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) project undertaken by its 50%-owned unit MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd.
