Govt to spell out offences for RM10,000 compound, says Takiyuddin

KANGAR (March 15): The government will spell out the offences which are subject to a RM10,000 compound under the Emergency (Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Ordinance 2021 to clear any confusion over its implementation, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan.

Parliament can convene during emergency, says King

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 24): The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has stated that Parliament may convene during the emergency period on a date considered appropriate by the ruler, based on the advice of the prime minister.
