Covid-19: Malaysia sees spike to 260 new cases today, second highest daily tally

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 1): Malaysia reported 260 new confirmed Covid-19 cases today — the highest daily count since June 4 when there were 277 infections — and the country's second daily highest on record since three cases were found on Jan 24,, according to Ministry of Health (MoH) director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, who described the spike as "worrying".
