Genting Malaysia liquidates Irish subsidiary

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 2): Genting Malaysia Bhd (GenM) said today its indirect wholly-owned dormant subsidiary Stanley Leisure (Ireland) Unlimited Company (SLIUC), which was incorporated in Ireland, was placed under members' voluntary liquidation last Wednesday (Jan 27) pursuant to the provisions of the Companies Act 2014 of Ireland.

Court of Appeal brings forward hearing on Anwar, Pardons Board’s case to March 18

PUTRAJAYA (Jan 27): The Court of Appeal here had today brought forward to March 18, 2021 from July 28, 2021 the hearing on Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's (pictured) and the Pardons Board's appeal against the High Court's refusal to strike out a challenge brought by lawyer Mohd Khairul Azam Abdul Aziz against the pardon obtained by the opposition leader for his second sodomy conviction.
