Following the first phase’s success, Tropicana Corp Bhd introduced Merissa Serviced Suites with 60 beachfront homes in a low-rise serviced suites tower.
The initiative saw the upgrading of existing facilities including eight commercial lots, enhanced washroom and surau facilities, and the allocation of more than 70 parking bays for cars, motorcycles and bicycles, to cater for the needs of travellers and visitors and in support of Langkawi’s tourism segment.
The 88-acre Tropicana Metropark township will also be home to the upscale supermarket Mercato.
The group’s revenue more than doubled to RM464.
The official launch of SouthPlace 2 Shoppes & Residences, which was previously soft launched in May, also comes on the heels of Tropicana’s announcement of upscale supermarket Mercato as the anchor tenant at SouthPlace Shoppes & Residences.
The property developer said it is on track to achieve RM1.
Of note, are the 112-acre Tropicana Grandhill and Tropicana Paradise, an integrated development and the next phase of the Tropicana WindCity masterplan.
SouthPlace 2 Residences will comprise 553 apartment units with built-ups from 583 sq ft, featuring one- to four-bedroom layouts.
